Two-time National League Cy Young Award winter Tim Lincecum wants $13 million to play for the San Francisco Giants next season and his team only wants to give him $8 million. The talks to try to bring the numbers together are apparently not going extremely well, according to CSNBayArea.com.

This is from Mychael Urban who has been known to be more wrong than right when reporting on the Giants. Beside, why would Timmy sign a long term contract when this team has done precious little to surround him with Any Major League talent beside Panda. The Giants have him under contract for 4 more years, He can go to Arbitration each year earning more money than anyone in Baseball.
